Within easy reach of Sail Mhor View there are numerous locations to simply enjoy
the breathtaking landscape, or spend time capturing it on camera or canvas.
The area is superb for bird watching, but for those who are adventurous or want
to be more active this makes an ideal location for most activity holidays including
hill walking, climbing, canoeing and cycling.

You may decide not to venture from the comfort of the sitting room, where you
can enjoy the stunning views over Little Loch Broom with its abundance of exciting
wildlife and dramatic scenery. However, if you do leave this haven, reward yourself
with a visit to the beautiful secluded sandy beaches, stroll along the shore,
and watch the wildlife including otters, seals, dolphins and porpoises. Wild goats
and deer can be seen nearby.

Marvel at the majestic beauty of Loch Broom looking towards Ullapool and the
rugged ridge on An Teallach. Walkin Lael Forest with its' specimen trees in the
forest garden. Visit Corrieshalloch Gorge or Rogie Falls to name just a few of
the many treasures that this area can offer.

For the serious bird watcher, or just a wildlife enthusiast, Sea and Golden Eagle
sites are close at hand, together with viewing opportunities for a wide range of
other birds. Venture to The Black Isle and see Red Kite or take a day trip and visit
Handa Island with it's numerous species. Excursions further afield provide a chance
to see the magnificent Beinn Eighe and Liathach and the other Torridon mountains;
or take the wonderful nerve jangling approach to Applecross aver the Bealach na Ba.

The villages and towns of the highlands and coast provide a treasure-trove of
craft shops and tea rooms, alternatively take a boat trip from Ullapool or Gairloch.
Visit Inverewe Gardens and the Scottish National Trust Arboretum at the Kyle
of Lochalsh. There's so much to see and enjoy.
